An invigorating walk from the Hoge Blekker in Koksijde village, through the De Doornpanne nature reserve, to the Schipgatduinen.

Bicycle rental
The best way to explore the coast is on two wheels, with the wind in your hair and the sea in sight.
In Koksijde there are several possibilities to rent bicycles. We recommend to book in advance with one of the local dealers such as Fietsen Nico or Fietsverhuur De Kust, both within walking distance of the apartment.
In addition, you can use shared bicycles via the 'Donkey Republic' app. This allows you to rent a bicycle quickly and flexibly via your smartphone. There are various pick-up points in the area.
Cycle network & junctions
Something for everyone...
The region is perfectly accessible via the West Flemish cycle network. From Koksijde you can easily reach junctions such as 20, 22 and 48, with which you cycle towards nature reserves, coastal municipalities or the hinterland. A cycling map is available in the apartment.
